Jürg Wittwer

Dr. Jürg Wittwer is CEO of the Touring Club Suisse, the leading automotive club in Switzerland with 1.5 million members and 1800 employees since 2016. 

Jürg was born in 1967, he is married, father of two children and lives in Geneva. He grew up in the Bernese Oberland and in Burkina Faso (West Africa). 

As Background, he has completed his studies at the University of St. Gallen with a doctorate. During and after his studies he worked as freelance photographer and journalist.

Prior to joining TCS, Jürg has extensive senior management experience and expertise in the mobility, travel and insurance industry in Switzerland, the United States, Canada, Spain, Portugal and Germany. 

In addition to his activities at TCS, Jürg is involved in the field of education as a frequent guest lecturer at numerous international universities and a published author.
